i don't know which way's home.

oh man i am tired.
i'm currently waiting for a bunch of images to upload so i can finish laying them out into a book format, and send them off to get printed.
also on the to-do list for today: finish editing a short film, organise several assignments into presentable formats, finish off a card design and send that to get printed, finish making a website, and finally, put everything i've done at school so far this year into a ten-minute presentation, to be delivered on friday afternoon. i'm the last person for the day. i'm not sure if that's good or bad.

also if you hadn't noticed, it's currently about 6.30am. i haven't slept yet, and i still have to do all this stuff today. GO TEAM!
at least i'm on holidays starting this weekend. i didn't know that until the other day - i thought we had another full week left. so score!
one week off, then a week of pat and brendan EP recording, then another week off. perfect! drums and bass went off (almost) without a hitch on the weekend. it was awesome! i'm so freakin' excited! i need to shave! i don't even like having facial hair BUT IT KEEPS COMING BACK

okay, stuff's finished uploading. thanks, blog! high five!

i love it when you're breathless.

can i get a hell yeah?
we played a sweet pat and brendan set tonight. we didn't play it to many people, but we rocked it nonetheless.
we start recording our EP tomorrow! drums and bass this weekend. IT'S GONNA KICK SOME BOTTOM SERIOUSLY

i am really tired. i have been this way a lot lately.
i was meant to get up at 8am to go to school today, so i set my alarm on my phone and went to sleep... then woke up at 12pm, lying on top of my phone. BUH.
and that's my anecdote!

oh and also i told a pun to leo and danny and they laughed and hugged me. SPECIAL!

we are gonna be fine.

i'm currently sitting on the control room couch at the world-famous siamese studios. my good friend coopy cooper is mixing the song we've just tracked, a tune tentatively titled "you and me are gonna be friends, we are gonna be friends all the time". it's the extended version of the song in the animation i linked to a few posts ago. it's also the theme song for the "series" that it's a part of. which doesn't exist. ...yet.
although "extended" may be a bit misleading... it's only about eight seconds long. but hey, that's twice what it was before. and that's twice as nice.

i'm also currently wearing a new black hoodie that i've yet to wash, so it's putting little black fluffballs all over my shirt! grand!

plz note: first usage of the word "fluffballs" in this blog

plz note: second usage

shitluck sundays.

i swear, that's what my autobiography's gonna be called.

so i went into crazytown this evening to attend a SCIENCE FICTION DOUBLE FEATURE with that brendan guy. it was awesome good times all the times.
and it was at about 11:15pm that i thought to myself, "hmm. it's a sunday night. i'm in the city and my car is in ringwood. i'm relying on public transport to get me back to that car. i really should have done some research on this."
so brendan whips out his handy-dandy train timetable (because apparently "thinking to myself" = "talking to brendan"), and i discover that the last train leaves flinders street station at 11:50. and when the friendly cinema man (aka "cineman") tells me that the movie only has five minutes left, i stop talking in the present tense and switched to the past tense. so i hung around to see the end of the movie (IT WAS PEOPLE), and we headed to station after.

it was at this point that i realised that the train TO flinders st left the station where we currently were at 11:49. and that probably wasn't gonna work out.
so i hotfooted it into the car of someone i just met, and got a lift to glenferrie station. i got there at about 11:50, so i figured i'd be sweet as a nut.
BUT it turns out either brendan's timetable was wrong or i just read it wrong, cause there was no train. the last train came through at 11:30.

it was at this point that i started to be glad that i didn't buy phone credit when i wanted to earlier that night. because all i had was $45, and that's how much a taxi ride to ringwood costs.

now i have no money. also why am i writing a blog i have to go to school
